There could have been no better way for me to spend my last semester of college than by traveling around the world and having the experiences I had. As a biology major, my interests lie within ecology and every process which makes life possible. This experience gave me the opportunity to see how each event throughout Earth’s history is connected and will eventually affect life in the future.
My academic goals are to attend a graduate program that will
allow me to look at the many facets through which ecology can be understood and
then find a narrower path from which I can teach or continue with field
research.
My favorites from the trip? Diving the extraordinarily
diverse atolls of the Maldives
and touring Istanbul and the Western historical
sites of Turkey.
